GEOLOGY

PREREQUISITES: Successful completion of Biology or Biology (Honors). Not open to anyone who has successfully completed TECTONICS.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course will introduce and use measurement techniques and problem solving skills. Maps and models will aid students in understanding the evolution of the Earth. The study of minerals and the processes of the rock cycle will provide a foundation for further study of the geosciences.
