

This committee
coordinates all community service projects conducted by Tremper.
Aside from supporting the numerous activities already sponsored by
SubDeb, Octagon Club, and Key Club, this committee sponsors some
activities of its own. Example activities this committee runs
include the Avon Breast Cancer Walk, the Tobacco Truth Tour, Holiday
House, the Senior Citizen’s Prom, the Freedom Concert, and the
largest student-led blood drive in the nation. New community
service projects are initiated by this committee.
Vice President of
Community Relations: Joel Jahnke
This person leads the Community
Relations Committee. The primary role of this position is to
provide a connection between the community and Tremper High School.
The scope of responsibilities includes providing a connection to our
school parents, leading the annual Blood Drive, and determining
potential community service initiatives. The student body looks to
the Vice President of Community Relations as one who promotes
positive relationships and a welcoming image to our community.
