This committee coordinates activities that provide academic assistance and support programs for minority student success at Tremper.  In addition, this committee promotes the necessary changes at Tremper to create a more respectful environment.  The largest program that impacts all staff and students is the Diversity Circles Program, which this committee helps organize.  This committee also takes part in the creation of the new diversity murals in the stairwells at Tremper.

Vice President of Diversity Awareness: Sam Sinozich

This person leads the Diversity Awareness Committee.  The primary role of this position is to promote diversity and respectful behaviors among the student body.  The scope of responsibilities includes running the Diversity Circles discussion program, organizing diversity assemblies, and upgrading school facilities to reflect our diverse population.  The student body looks to the Vice President of Diversity Awareness as one who promotes positive relationships among all students of every background.
