Formerly a
subcommittee of Special Events, Tremper Spirit was instituted as a
separate comittee in 2004 after Special Events received an
overwhelming amount of applications. Paired with Special
Events, this committee boosts school spirit and promotes activities
that brings the student body together. Major activities this
committee organizes are quarterly spirit weeks. All events also have a major activity within the week,
including a dance, Mr. Tremper or Powder Puff Football competition.
Aside from the major event weeks, this committee also supports the
athletic events with spirit-raising activities including spirit
buses and fan section cheering. Since our blood drive is the
largest one in the nation, this committee supports the Community
Relations committee during the blood drive.
Vice President of Tremper Spirit:
Matt Eggert
This person leads the Tremper
Spirit Committee. The primary role of this position is to organize
and lead the school spirit related activities sponsored by student
government. The scope of responsibilities includes planning
resources to run our current activities and support athletic teams
in spirit. In addition, new ideas we pursue are coordinated
through this committee. The student body looks to the Vice
President of Tremper Spirit as one who manages multiple tasks
efficiently and promotes school spirit here at Tremper High School.
