Special Events

On December 7, 1964, Tremper High School first opened its hallowed halls. During those almost 40 years, thousands of students, other school groups and the community have used Tremper's beautiful Auditorium.

Just like our own home if it was almost 40 years old, some serious work needs to be done. Our beautiful Auditorium needs a refurbishing. A campaign, which will be most likely be a two-year effort, to raise dollars to repair and to re-cover the orange seats, replace the carpeting and replace the stage curtains is underway.

Our Superintendent of Schools, Department of Facilities, Tremper's Student Congress, Class of 2003, along with Tremper's Drama and Music Departments are committed to the Auditorium project.

For a donation of $60.00 you can fix and recover one seat. For a donation of $100.00, you can purchase two seats. Flyers outlining the donation process are available in Office 109 and the Main Office.

Donators will purchase a little piece of immortality. Donations can be made in the one's family name, child, parent, grandparent, favorite teacher, retiring teacher, civic organization, etc. Donators will have their name engraved on a plaque that will be permanently displayed. Donators will receive complimentary tickets to a special benefit concert. Donators will receive satisfaction in knowing that they have made a meaningful contribution to Tremper's outstanding music and drama programs.

On December 7, 1964, Tremper's Auditorium was one of the cornerstones for Kenosha's magnificent new high school. Your help in restoring our beautiful Auditorium to the magnificence that it once had is requested.
