Talent Incentive Program (TIP) Grant

Due Date: Application must be mailed now. (all application are numbered and money distributed on a "first come-first served" basis)

Criteria: All students on free or reduced lunch are eligible. Talent Incentive Program (TIP) Grant is a grant for students on Free or Reduced lunch. This grant is for low income senior students. Students need to complete the application and send it in to Jackie Jones, 2113 North Wisconsin St., Racine, WI 53402. Once the application is completed and sent to Jackie Jones your application is numbered and the money is given out on a first come first serve basis. You will also need an acceptance letter, Financial Aid award letter and class schedule from your college. Get the application in early because the money runs out quick.

    Gateway Foundation Scholarships - apply online at gtc.edu/foundationscholarships

    Amount: varied

    Criteria: Graduating high school seniors planning to attend Gateway, President's Opportunity Scholarships are awarded one per high school in the District. For all scholarships, students need a GPA of 2.0 to apply.

    Kenosha Junior Woman’s Club Scholarship

    Criteria: 3.4 GPA, community and extra-curricular involvement, application completion and available for interview

    Amount: up to $2,000

    Deadline: April 25, 2015

     

    Ab Nicholas Scholarship - apply online after February 1st at http://abnicholasscholars.org/

    Criteria: Any senior who participated in a boys or girls basketball program in high school. Attend a UW systems school in fall and not playing sports at Division I, II or III

    Amount: $10,000 for 4 year school and $ 5,000 for 2 year school

    Kenosha Firefighters CARE Scholarship

    Criteria: Applicants must demonstrate contributions to the Kenosha community through volunteer service, three written references from adults knowledgeable of volunteer service, proof of acceptance to an accredited college, business or vocational school prior to acceptance of scholarship funds.

    Amount: $500 - awarded to one female and one male

    Deadline: April 30, 2015

     

    Filippo Mazzei Lodge #2763 Scholarships

    Criteria:: Application, two letters of recommendation, official transcripts, personal statement of your Italian descent and wallet-sized photograph

    Amounts: $2000 direct from Filippo Mazzei Lodge and $1000 in conjunction with the IL-WI Grand Lodge October Columbus Day Banquet

    Deadline: April 30, 2015

     

    The Scott Procknow Soccer Scholarship - Applications are available in Room 126 from Ms. Pacetti

    Criteria: Tremper senior girl soccer player; Must have participated in Tremper’s girls soccer program for at least two years.

    Criteria: graduating seniors who are members of TruStone Financial as of their application date. Scholarships are based on merit and awarded upon items like academic performance, student involvement and completion of an essay question.

    Overview: Female senior, GPA of 3.0 or higher, Italian descent and must be the daughter, granddaughter or great granddaughter of a current Italian American ladies Auxiliary member

    Criteria: Attended Lincoln Middle School for a minimum of 2 years, demonstrated leadership through participation in school, community and/or extra-curricular activities and complete application

    Amount: $500 to one male and one female

    Criteria: Graduate of a Kenosha high school; The applicant must have attended Lance Middle School for at least 2 years.

    The AMB Foundation Scholarship

    Amount: $1,500

    Criteria: leadership in diverse interests, strong academic performance, drive to help others, 300 word essay and letter of recommendation

    Kenosha Running Club Scholarship

    Amount: $1,500

    Criteria: Kenosha County students who will be enrolled in an accredited college or university. The applicant must have participated in running cross-county or track, have won an athletic letter in cross country or track, have a GPA of 2.5 or higher based on a 4.0 system and have at least 3 letters of recommendation from a coach, teacher, principal or employer. An academic transcript and ACT score sheet must also be provided.

    Criteria: Tremper male or female athlete, cumulative 3.0 GPA, financial need, essay

    The 50th Anniversary Scholarship sponsored by the The Class of 2009 Foundation - complete form online at www.tremper50.com

    Criteria: Entering their freshman year at an accredited two-year or four-year university, college, or vocational institute. The student must submit an electronic application at www.tremper50.com consisting of general contact and activity information, an official transcript, two letters of recommendations, and two essays.
