Talent Incentive Program (TIP) Grant

Due Date: Application must be mailed now. (all application are numbered and money distributed on a "first come-first served" basis)

Criteria: All students on free or reduced lunch are eligible. Talent Incentive Program (TIP) Grant is a grant for students on Free or Reduced lunch. This grant is for low income senior students. Students need to complete the application and send it in to Jackie Jones, 2113 North Wisconsin St., Racine, WI 53402. Once the application is completed and sent to Jackie Jones your application is numbered and the money is given out on a first come first serve basis. You will also need an acceptance letter, Financial Aid award letter and class schedule from your college. Get the application in early because the money runs out quick.

Pagel Graphic Art Scholarship

Criteria: Full time students pursuing some form of post-secondary education in the graphic art industry.  Scholarships awarded based on academic performance, outside activities and financial need.

Amount: $500 - $1500

The American Legion, Department of Wisconsin Schneider-Emanuel Scholarship

Criteria:  A SON/DAUGHTER whose Father, Mother, or Legal Guardian is living and a current member of The American Legion,     The American Legion Auxiliary, or The Sons of The American Legion at the time of application..

A GRANDSON/GRANDDAUGHTER whose Grandfather, Grandmother, or Legal Guardian is living and a current member of The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, or The Sons of The American Legion at the time of application.

APPLICANT is a current member, in good standing, in The Sons of The American Legion or The American Legion Auxiliary/Junior Auxiliary at the time of application.

Three (3) Scholarship awards will be made to the applicants who meet the above eligibility requirements and have participated in one or more of the following American Legion sponsored activities:

  • Attendance at a complete session of Badger Boys State
  • Attendance at a complete session of Badger Girls State
  • Participation in the County Youth Government Day Program
  • Competed in The American Legion High School Oratorical Contest (Post, County, District or State level)
  • Completed  The American Legion Americanism and Government Scholarship Test
  • Participated in an American Legion sponsored Band and/or Drum and Bugle Corps
  • Played for an American Legion Baseball Team
  • Member of an American Legion sponsored Scout Troop

Amount:  3 - $1,000.00 Scholarships

Kenosha Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

Criteria: Senior attending a 4 year or technical college; connection to Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce; GPA minimum 2.5 (if below 2.5 GPA you may write a statement on why you should be considered); involved in extra-curricular activities and community and you must be available for an interview (March 23rd – April 12th)

Amount: 4 scholarships up to $2,500

Milwaukee/NARI Foundation Scholarship

Criteria:  Senior, U.S. citizen residing in southeastern Wisconsin, must enroll in a WI institution in an eligible program (Architecture, Interior Design, Landscaping, Masonry, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC and Cabinet Making)

Amount:  $1,000 scholarship to an eligible institution when taking at least 12 credits per semester
               $500 scholarship to an eligible institution when taking 6 – 11 credits per semester

Criteria: Any senior who participated in a boys or girls basketball program in high school. Attend a UW systems school in fall and not playing sports at Division I, II or III
