Visit with Greg Huss during your lunch on Nov 6th. He will be going over the details of the Kenosha Scholarship with students in room 202. Last year, Carthage only had around 30 applications for 8 full-ride scholarships.

Talent Incentive Program (TIP) Grant

Due Date: Application must be mailed now. (all application are numbered and money distributed on a "first come-first served" basis)

Criteria: All students on free or reduced lunch are eligible. Talent Incentive Program (TIP) Grant is a grant for students on Free or Reduced lunch. This grant is for low income senior students. Students need to complete the application and send it in to Jackie Jones, 2113 North Wisconsin St., Racine, WI 53402. Once the application is completed and sent to Jackie Jones your application is numbered and the money is given out on a first come first serve basis. You will also need an acceptance letter, Financial Aid award letter and class schedule from your college. Get the application in early because the money runs out quick.


Herb Kohl Scholarship

Amount : $1,000.

Criteria: Student Leadership, citizenship, academic achievement and community involvement

Deadline: November 24, 2014

McDonald House Charities Scholarship - apply online at www.rmhc.org

Amount: $2000

Criteria: Any graduating senior in the class of 2015

Deadline: January 20, 2015

Greater Kenosha Community Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drug Awareness Scholarship

Criteria: Any senior planning to enroll in a post high school educational program (college, vocational/technical school, etc.) in the Fall

Amount: $500

Deadline: January 29, 2015

WEAC Scholarships - apply online at at http://weac.org/member-benefits/weac-scholarships/

Criteria: Any senior with a a parent in one of these membership categories: an active WEAC member, an active retired member, or a parent who died while holding a WEAC membership. Applicant must rank in the top 25% of his or her class or have achieved a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Plan to pursue an education major or minor, and intend to teach in Wisconsin.

Amount: $1450 4-year renewable grant

Deadline: February 1, 2015
