Talent Incentive Program (TIP) Grant

Due Date: Application must be mailed now. (all application are numbered and money distributed on a "first come-first served" basis)

Criteria: All students on free or reduced lunch are eligible. Talent Incentive Program (TIP) Grant is a grant for students on Free or Reduced lunch. This grant is for low income senior students. Students need to complete the application and send it in to Jackie Jones, 2113 North Wisconsin St., Racine, WI 53402. Once the application is completed and sent to Jackie Jones your application is numbered and the money is given out on a first come first serve basis. You will also need an acceptance letter, Financial Aid award letter and class schedule from your college. Get the application in early because the money runs out quick.

Amount range: $1,500 - $2000

Criteria: Graduating seniors who plan to study engineering at a four-year ABET accredited program leading to a baccalaureate degree in engineering. Questions email: al.lindner@graef-usa.com

Kenosha Unified PTA 2015 Scholarship

Amount: $1500

Criteria: Must be majoring in education or related field that will affect children, full time student and must complete first semester of college with a 2.75 minimum GPA, the student and parent or legal guardian must be a PTA/PTSA member.

Deadline: January 24, 2015

Greater Kenosha Community Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drug Awareness Scholarship

Criteria: Any senior planning to enroll in a post high school educational program (college, vocational/technical school, etc.) in the Fall

Amount: $500

Deadline: January 29, 2015

WEAC Scholarships - apply online at at http://weac.org/member-benefits/weac-scholarships/

Criteria: Any senior with a a parent in one of these membership categories: an active WEAC member, an active retired member, or a parent who died while holding a WEAC membership. Applicant must rank in the top 25% of his or her class or have achieved a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Plan to pursue an education major or minor, and intend to teach in Wisconsin.

Amount: $1450 4-year renewable grant

Criteria: Any senior that will be attending University of Wisconsin-Madison or Madison Area Technical College in the Fall of 2015

Pagel Graphic Art Scholarship

Criteria: Full time students pursuing some form of post-secondary education in the graphic art industry.  Scholarships awarded based on academic performance, outside activities and financial need.

Amount: $500 - $1500 

Deadline: February 28, 2015 

 

Jeffery Elementary School PTO Scholarship

Criteria: Must have attended Jeffery Elementary for at least 3 full years; cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; involvement in extra curricular activities and/or athletics; attending college full time in the Fall and completing the first semester in the same year that the scholarship is awarded

Amount: $250 (each to a former female and male student) student (Must have attended for 3 full years)
