Staff Awards

Faculty and Staff Recognition

Each month, the Academic Affairs / Renaissance Committee of Student Government sponsors a program which recognizes a faculty and staff member.   The Committee solicits nominations from Tremper faculty and staff.  From these nominations, a sub-committee consisting of 7 students selects the “Outstanding Teacher” and “Outstanding Staff Member”.

The criteria for which the candidate (including teachers, educational support personnel, kitchen staff, counselors, custodians, secretaries, and administrators) is nominated includes:

·         Helps students achieve academic excellence or improvement

·         Uses innovative approaches to guide students toward adult behaviors

·         Supports initiatives that improve the school climate

·         Impacts school improvements as a team player

·         Goes beyond the "job description" to be a role model school leader
