SAVION BEBO, STEPHEN SCHMIDT and EDDIE MAKAR

The start of this week marked the beginning of baseball tryouts and the bright new future of the Tremper Trojans baseball team. Almost every year we lose in the second round of the playoffs, but this year the team is hopeful to turn that around and get past that hump. Finishing the Season with a Splash

On Friday, October 27th, and Saturday, October 28th, many of Tremper’s Swimmers and Divers competed in their last meet of the 2017 season at either the JV conference invite or the Varsity Conference meet. The JV invite took place at Case on Friday where many underclassmen experienced their very first big competition. Cross Country Season

Cross country is not your average sport. Everyday the team spend hours running. Their workouts vary from 400 meter repeats to long eight miles runs. No matter what that day consists of, they are always forcing themselves to push themselves. If the average person was to look at their workouts for the week, they were be appalled by the intense workouts the athletes work their bodies to the breaking point. Oshkosh West Tournament

On Saturday, September 23rd, the Tremper girls’ tennis team participated in the annual Oshkosh West tournament. Considering Tremper’s number one varsity player, Olivia Valentine, was out with a calf injury, the team refused to suffer. Though I generally play number two singles at tournaments, I had to step up and play Olivia’s spot. After having to play up, I realized there is an obvious difference between playing two and one.
