Paleo Plan


The Paleo diet claims that if you eat foods like our paleozoic ancestors it can help you feel better, look better, and perform better if you are an athlete. This diet also says that you will be at lower risk of diabetes heart disease and cancer. Me being an athlete took notice of this diet in preparation of the upcoming season. Even with all these claims, you do not receive all needed nutrients like carbs and other things that came into fruition after that time period.

On this diet foods that can be eaten are: lean meats, fish, fruit, vegetables, eggs, nuts and seeds. Foods that should not be consumed are: processed foods, dairy, wheat, legumes, refined sugars, potatoes and salts. Also with this diet the grocery bill is expected to expand because of the rising prices of meat products.

On the diet exercise is recommended like doing powerlifting or crossfit because of the protein in take. Weight loss is inevitable but the main focus of the plan is to build muscle and cleanse the system from the toxic diets of today. While this plan is not for everyone I would recommend it to athletes trying to bulk up and gain more muscle.
